With our many decades of industry experience, we at Southern Spring & Stamping, Inc. are technical specialists in the field of precision metal stamping. Our innovation sets new industry standards, and we have the ingenuity to engineer tooling and production processes that advance the future of metal stamping technology. We have the resources to manufacture close-tolerance stamped parts flexibly and economically, while overcoming the challenges associated with complex geometries and the processing of high-strength alloys.

At Southern Spring & Stamping we can perform stamping operations that include progressive die, compound die, deep draw, slide forming, and more. Our production assets include presses that range from 5-tons to 165-tons and have 12.0” coil lines that allow us to process materials from 0.004” to 0.187” in thickness. In addition, we have multislide and Vertislide presses for long-run capabilities.

This diversity allows us to stamp parts in a wide range of shapes and sizes using a variety of alloys. This can range from common materials like aluminum and stainless steel, to exotic materials like Inconel or soft copper. We can do this while upholding tolerances as tight as ±0.001”. We design and fabricate all of our own tooling in-house. From soft tooling for prototyping or limited volumes to high-strength production tooling for runs that involve millions of units.

In addition to precision stamping, we offer numerous options for secondary processing and finishing. Our in-house capabilities include deburring, painting, and packaging, and we have developed partnerships with providers of quality plating, heat treating, and numerous other services.
